TERMS & CONDITIONS – EURO STYLE DESIGN

The use of this website and/or placing any order with Euro Style Design constitutes full acceptance of the terms and conditions outlined below.

1. GENERAL WARRANTY

All new furniture is covered by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for residential use only, starting from the date of delivery.

This warranty:

  • Applies only to the original purchaser and original delivery address
  • Covers manufacturing defects only
  • Requires proof (photos, video, description) for any claim

The warranty does not cover:

  • Delivery costs for replacements
  • Products moved from the original delivery address (unless moved by Euro Style Design)
  • Normal wear and tear or misuse

Natural variations in materials (wood grain, leather marks, color variations) are not considered defects.

2. GENERAL CARE

All products must be used as intended. Improper use may result in damage, discoloration, or reduced durability.

Failure to follow care instructions voids any responsibility of Euro Style Design.

3. PRICES & PROMOTIONS

  • Prices are subject to change without notice
  • Promotions are valid only during specified periods
  • No price adjustments on past purchases

4. ORDERS & PAYMENTS

  • Minimum 35% deposit required for standard orders
  • Minimum 50% deposit required for custom or special orders
  • Full balance must be paid prior to delivery

Accepted payment methods:

  • Visa / MasterCard
  • Certified cheque
  • Cash

If payment is made upon delivery, it must be cash only and collected before unloading.

Orders are only considered accepted once confirmed in writing by Euro Style Design.

5. NON-CANCELLATION POLICY

All custom-made and special orders are final sale.

Once an order is placed:

  • It cannot be cancelled
  • It cannot be modified
  • Deposits are strictly non-refundable

6. FORCE MAJEURE & DELIVERY DELAYS

Euro Style Design is not responsible for delays caused by circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to:

• Customs inspections • Port congestion • Transportation delays • Strikes or labor shortages • Supplier or manufacturing delays • Global or local events affecting logistics

All delivery dates are estimates only.

Delays do not entitle the Customer to cancel the order, request compensation, or initiate payment disputes or chargebacks.

7. DELIVERY & INSTALLATION

Standard Delivery
Delivery is to the first floor only, unless otherwise arranged. Additional fees may apply for special conditions.

Customer Responsibilities
The Customer must ensure: Adequate access (doors, stairs, elevators), Accurate measurements, Site readiness at time of delivery.

If delivery cannot be completed: Customer is responsible for all costs (transport, return, storage, redelivery).

Installation
Does not include wall mounting or electrical work. Additional work may incur extra charges.

8. STORAGE POLICY

Free storage: 1 month after goods arrive. After that: 10% of purchase value per month.

9. RECEIVING & INSPECTION

The Customer must inspect all merchandise at the time of delivery. Any visible damage must be reported immediately to the delivery team.

10. DAMAGE CLAIM DEADLINE

All claims (visible or concealed) must be submitted within 24 hours of delivery. Claims submitted after this period will not be accepted.

11. CLAIM PROCEDURE

All claims must be submitted by email and include: Written description of the issue, Clear photos, Video (maximum 15 seconds). Incomplete claims may be rejected. Euro Style Design reserves the right to determine the appropriate resolution.

12. RETURNS & EXCHANGES

  • Returns/exchanges accepted within 5 days of delivery
  • Original packaging required
  • Products must be unused and unmodified

Refund conditions: 25% restocking fee applies. Delivery and handling fees are non-refundable. Custom orders and floor models are final sale. Euro Style Design reserves the right to refuse any return.

13. SHIPPING & FREIGHT

For freight deliveries: Customer must note any damage on delivery documents. Failure to report damage voids claims.

14. CUSTOMER PICK-UP

Customers are responsible for: Securing items during transport, Any damage after pickup.

15. OWNERSHIP

All goods remain the property of Euro Style Design until fully paid.

16. LIABILITY LIMITATION

Euro Style Design shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Maximum liability, if applicable, is limited to the value of the purchased goods.

17. COPYRIGHT

All website content is the property of Euro Style Design and protected by law.

18. LEGAL JURISDICTION

Any dispute shall be governed by the laws of Quebec and resolved in the courts of Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
