Cannage Arm chair

We remember the wicker chairs inspired by 18th-century
English furniture that our grandmothers looked proud and
probably inherited from their ancestors.

The cannage, is the famous rattan braid that for centuries has woven the seat of chairs and rocking chairs made by artisans from Southeast Asia and we commonly call them rattan.

There are very original armchairs and sofas that use cannage and also to encompass the structure of the furniture like a desk with a grid front, screens, tables, cabinets …Many types of furniture and decoration that use stripes of painted cannage to achieve an aesthetic that moves away from the natural color of the rattan.
